And do not forget about the maintenance fee they collect every month without fail ,but do no work except for cleaning of the water tank once in every 6 months and that too ,only when they are questioned by the residents(tat’s also once in 6 months) or they face the problems themselves, do they take immediate actions which is a at least a month away…

Hilarious post. We too have a welfare society in our colony and every year a few individuals practice their swear-words and fisticuffs to earn the right to serve the residents as office-bearers. This year they finally got one job done – to paint the house numbers, but in a dash of creativity they added 1 to each number, with the result that the postman is having a hellish existence.
